If you have been waiting to jailbreak you iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. It's your lucky day. The Dev-Team has just released redsn0w untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 - for Windows and OS X. Supported idevices are the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G, iPad 1 and Apple TV-2. The iPad 2 is not supported as of yet.
The untethered jailbreak means you don't need to plug your phone into a PC every time it turns off of runs out of battery. Just use the phone as normal.
